commentBoral Composites has awarded an $11-million design-build contract to Science Applications International Corp. of McLean, Va., to build a manufacturing facility in East Spencer, N.C. The work will be performed by SAIC’s wholly owned design-build subsidiary, The Benham Cos.

The plant will produce a line of exterior building products made primarily from recycled and renewable materials. The project is expected to be completed by June.
