The Barnett building will become The Bank Hotel, a 120-room boutique hotel inspired by and themed after the former Barnett Bank. It also will include 40 rental apartments.

Plans for the Laura Street Trio—the former Florida Life Building, Bisbee Building and Florida National Bank—call for 98 loft-style apartments and more than 17,000 sq ft of retail space. The proposed development will also include construction of a 248-space parking structure.

The project team includes the architectural and planning firm Ervin, Lovett & Miller; and Danis Construction, both of Jacksonville.
