The Greene County, N.C., Board of Education is planning to build a $13.5-million intermediate school in Snow Hill. The project will entail a one-story, 79,000-sq-ft building, serving fourth- and fifth-graders. The project will go to bid in September, and the contract will be awarded in October, with construction expected to be completed by spring 2012.
