Balfour Beatty Construction Wins $10 Million in School Contracts in Oconee County, S.C.

Balfour Beatty Construction, in partnership with Trehel Corp., was awarded two joint venture renovation and addition projects worth a combined $10 million for the School District of Oconee County in South Carolina.

Balfour Beatty and Trehel will provide construction management-at-risk services for West-Oak High School and Seneca High School.

The addition/renovation effort for West-Oak High School will encompass approximately 45,000 sq ft and will feature a cafeteria addition, two-story classroom wing, new parking lot and entrance, and administrative wing.

Also at approximately 45,000 sq ft, the Seneca High School project will include a new entry and courtyard, auxiliary gym, weight room, classroom wing and administrative office renovations and additions.

Both schools are slated to open in December 2011.
