BE&K Awarded Government Contracts in North, South Carolina

BE&K Building Group of Raleigh, N.C., will construct a $52-million State Public Health Laboratory and Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for the North Carolina Dept. of Health & Human Services. Work on the 220,000-sq-ft facility began in February. O’Brien/Atkins Associates is the architect.

In Lancaster, S.C., BE&K is building the $25-million Lancaster County Courthouse. Completion of the 100,000-sq-ft courthouse is targeted for April 2011. Stevens & Wilkinson of South Carolina was the architect.
