Atlanta-based Cousins Properties announced that Terminus 200, the newest phase of the developer’s 9.9-acre mixed-use Terminus development in Buckhead, has earned LEED CS Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Terminus 200 office tower is constructed of 20% recycled content and certified wood products. Other “green” features include: windows and workspaces designed to maximize daylighting; accessibility to mass transit as well as availability of parking for carpools and low-emission vehicles; and low-flow fixtures and appliances to reduce water use.
Developed by a joint venture of Cousins and Prudential Real Estate Investors, Terminus 200 is a 25-story, 564,000-sq-ft tower of Class A office space, retail and restaurant space.
