The St. Joe Co. of Jacksonville, Fla., promoted Britt Greene to president and chief operating officer, and Chris Corr to executive vice president and chief strategy officer.
Greene has more than 25 years of experience in real estate development, finance and management. He was appointed COO in 2006 and has been focused on the overall operations of the company. In his prior role as president of St. Joe Towns & Resorts, Greene led the firm’s residential and resort projects throughout Florida and the Mid-Atlantic. As president of St. Joe Commercial, he was also responsible for the company’s commercial land sales and development businesses.
Corr has served as chief strategy officer since 2006, where he has been focused on business strategy, entitlements and infrastructure initiatives. Previously he was senior vice president of strategic planning and helped create the company’s entitlements process.
George Adornato was named vice president-Palm Beach for Miami-based Coastal Construction Group. In his new role, Adornato will be responsible for business development and overseeing all projects in Palm Beach County.
Adornato was most recently senior vice president/division manager for W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Co. in Atlanta. He has more than 20 years of experience.
Steve Starr has joined Tobin Dudley, a leading architecture, planning and design firm in Charlotte, N.C.
He was most recently studio principal of store design for Little Diversified Architectural Consulting, where he founded the studio and managed all phases of retail, restaurant and entertainment projects.
Rick Kolb has joined the Weitz Co. of West Palm Beach as construction manager of its Florida operations. Kolb has more than 24 years of construction industry experience. He will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the company’s office in Hollywood, Fla.

Erica S. Henning has been named development manager in the Carolinas division of multifamily real estate firm Lane Company in Charlotte, N.C. She is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day development activities in the area.
Before joining Lane, Henning was vice president-land operations for Heritage Building Group, a regional developer and homebuilder near Philadelphia.

Beth Bernitt was promoted to director of corporate marketing for The Beck Group in Tampa. She previously worked as director of integrated architecture, construction and development services for the company’s Florida region.
Bernitt will remain in Florida. She joined Beck after serving as a managing principal of HOK’s Florida division.
Graham Carpenter has joined Pollack Partners, an Atlanta-based multifamily real estate development firm, as development associate. His responsibilities will include analysis of new opportunities, as well as underwriting, acquisitions, deal support and project management.

George Gilhooley has joined HNTB Corp. in Lake Mary, Fla., as the Senior ITS/VII Practice Builder for the firm’s Florida District. Anna Landman, James Moore and Sara Poindexter were each promoted to the position of senior project engineer at MSCW, an Orlando-based design firm. A graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology, Landman has worked with MSCW for more than five years.
