Ian Kramer was recently named
project manager for Taylor Woodrow's Diplomat Oceanfront Residences
project in Hollywood, Fla. Kramer has previously worked as
a project manager developing luxury projects in Aventura,
Fla., and Costa Rica.
Dianne Jacob was recently promoted
to vice president of business development for Hardin Construction
Co. of Tampa. She previously served as director of business
development. In addition to her new management responsibilities,
Jacob will continue as a primary liaison to the Tampa Bay
civic, cultural and business communities.
Hardin also announced the promotion
of Adam Sizemore to construction
manager. Sizemore, who joined Hardin 10 years ago as an assistant
project manager, works out of the company's Orlando offices.
Steven Williams has joined
design-build firm The Collage Companies of Lake Mary, Fla.,
as vice president of operations. He will oversee all of the
field activities for the company's Central and South Florida
operations.
Williams previously served as director of construction for
Austin Commercial in Dallas.
Ardaman & Associates, a geotechnical engineering services
firm, has named five new engineers for its Orlando offices.
Dinh Tien Nguyen, Michael Haldavnekar, Peter W. Baumstark,
Jagrut K. Jathal and Aries Patawaran were all named to the
position of assistant project engineer.
Ronald A.Geiger was recently
named water resources section manager in HDR's Charlotte offices.
Prior to joining HDR, Geiger was an associate partner and
project director with Woolpert LLP. His experience includes
program management, planning studies and construction design
for numerous water-related projects involving stormwater,
wastewater and drinking water.
Anoopa Jaikaran has been hired
for the newly created position of business development coordinator
at the Tampa headquarters of ACI Construction Services. Jaikaran
will be responsible for marketing, proposal preparation and
new business development for the Greater Tampa area.
Godfrey G. Little was appointed
chief operation officer for CONTECH Construction Products,
with full profit and loss responsibility for the company's
base business, which includes engineered pipe, corrugated
pipe, engineered bridges, plastics and specialty products.
Little previously spent 27 years with Ingersoll-Rand Co.,
most recently as vice president and general manager of I-R's
road development division. Also, from 1998 to 2001, he was
vice president and general manager of the Blaw-Knox Construction
Equipment Division.
Deborah L. Galloway has been
named communications manager for Ashland Paving And Construction
(APAC), a division of Ashland.
Galloway is responsible for APAC's communications planning
and execution, including brand management and positioning,
employee communications, media relations, advertising and
collateral material, web content, trade shows and related
activities.
Galloway most recently served as manager of global marketing
communications for the specialty plastics division of Eastman
Chemical Co. in Kingsport, Tenn.
Jay S. Jacobson has been named
development partner and director in charge of the South Florida
division for Wood Partners, a developer of multifamily developments.
Jacobson will oversee the development and construction of
properties throughout South Florida, including rental apartments,
condominiums, condominium conversions, townhomes and loft
apartments.
Michael P. Sheerin has been
named director of healthcare engineering for TLC Engineering
for Architecture of Orlando. Sheerin will manage the healthcare
engineering activities within TLC's nine offices in Florida
and Tennessee, oversee the development of technical training,
assure engineering quality and client satisfaction, and develop
the marketing goals strategy for healthcare pursuits firm-wide.
TLC currently serves 134 hospital clients in 46 states and
the Caribbean.
McKim & Creed, an engineering and surveying firm based
in Wilmington, N.C., recently named Susan
Fritzen and Randy Osburn
to the position of project manager. Fritzen will work in the
Wilmington office, while Osburn will work in the firm's offices
in Cary, N.C.
Sean Carpenter has joined Duke
Construction in Atlanta as preconstruction manager. In this
role, Carpenter will be in charge of managing the design and
preconstruction various projects for the Atlanta group of
Duke Construction.
Carpenter joins Duke from ARCO Design Builders where he worked
the last four years as a project manager.
Jeff Riley was recently hired
as project manager for Harmon Inc.'s Orlando office. He has
approximately 25 years of experience in the commercial glazing
industry.
Catherine Sullivan recently
joined HuntonBrady Architects of Orlando as a project architect
overseeing education and healthcare projects. Sullivan is
the current president of the Orlando chapter of the American
Institute of Architects.
Also, Matthew Pineda will serve
as project manager on corporate and education projects. He
has more than 20 years of experience in the architecture industry.
Chris Williams was recently
named branch manager of Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers' offices
in Charlotte. He has been working at Wayne Automatic Fire
Sprinklers since 1989.
