Clearwater Project Wins
Redevelopment Award
WilsonMiller's efforts on a street façade improvement
project in Clearwater, Fla., were recognized recently with
an award from the Florida Redevelopment Association. WilsonMiller
worked with two other firms on the project, which earned the
Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency the Best "Out
of the Box" Award, presented during the FRA's recent
2006 conference.
Developed by WilsonMiller in partnership with Swan Development
Advisors and Wallace Murphey and Boyington Architects, the
City of Clearwater's Cleveland Street Façade Design
Analysis project will create a new identity for Cleveland
Street. Cleveland Street eventually will be transformed into
a pedestrian-friendly area, with landscaped sidewalks and
medians with areas available for public art. The nearly $9
million streetscape project is part of the city's overall
plan for downtown redevelopment.

Eagle Roofing Products
Soon to Complete New Plant
Eagle Roofing Products Florida LLC, a subsidiary of Burlingame

roof tile manufacturing facility in Sumterville, Fla.
Initially, the facility will have four production lines capable
of producing 1.7 million squares of concrete tile a year.
When it achieves peak utilization, it will be the largest
tile manufacturing plant in the world, eclipsing Eagle's own
Rialto, Calif., facility. The new plant measures 228,000 sq
