Little Diversified Wins Georgia Southern Housing Project

Charlotte-based Little Diversified Architectural Consulting recently announced it will begin designing a new student housing project at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga.

Integrating two classrooms, a computer lab, lounge facilities, study rooms, indoor recreation areas and 203 four-bedroom suites complete with a living room and kitchen, Georgia Southern University's Eagle Village Housing marks the beginning of a revitalized appearance for its student housing initiative campus-wide. In its attempt to compete with off-campus housing, the university plans to use Eagle Village as a model for future privatized hybrids in order to raise the on-campus housing ratio to approximately 40 percent of its enrollment.

"This is an extraordinary opportunity for Little, and one of our largest campus housing projects to date," said College and University Studio Principal Rob Richardson.
